I won a skein of Plucky Knitter yarn!

I WON, I WON! It's my lucky day!  You're used to me posting giveaways and telling you that I'm giving YOU free stuff.  But today the tables are turned.  As you know, in addition to my passion for quilting, I also have a passion for knitting.  I entered a giveaway on Hunter Hammerson's site, Violently Domestic.  Hunter just released her 3rd book, called Rabble Rousers and she is giving away the yarn she used in the above photo by Plucky Knitter Yarns.  I'm not sure what color I'll be getting, but I'll be thrilled no matter what color it is!  People are raving over this yarn.

I'm not just saying this because I won the giveaway... but Hunter is really a talented designer of knitwear.  I own her first book and want to get the second one and the new one.  I highly recommend her patterns!  Her sock patterns are stunning!  AND... she is giving away a pattern when you buy one of your choice right now.  Don't delay-- the offer ends on Sunday night, Aug 12th.  Go to the Violently Domestic site for details.

The above photo is from Hunter's website- it's not my photo or my knitting,,, but it surely is pretty!

Thanks so much, Hunter!

July Giveaway Winner is.... Patty D from NC!

Congrats, Patty!  I hope you'll enjoy the Summer Brights fat quarter pack... coming your way!  I'll send you a private message to get your address and I'll have your pretty FQ's on their way lickity split!  Patty blogs at A Stitch In Time.  Check out her blog!

If you just HAVE to have some of these fabrics for yourself,..... you can purchase Fat Quarters or yardage off the bolt on my website.... HERE's the link.

Thanks to everyone who entered the giveaway.  It's great to have you reading along.  I try to reply to everyone who comments to one of my posts, as long as you aren't a "no reply blogger".  But there are so many people who enter giveaways, that I'm not able to reply to entries.  If you show up in the comments.... you're entered!

I've been SUPER busy for the last few weeks!  In addition to our quilt shop, we have a small lavender farm. Our yield for this harvest is exceeding my expectations- when we're finished cutting, we will have harvested over 2,000 bundles of lavender!  I'll post a new giveaway for August, and lots of photos of the lavender as soon as I catch my breath.

Congrats, again, Patty!!!
